One of Spain’s top logistics publications, Logística Profesional, has recognized Geek+ in the "Intralogistics and innovation" category for the latest generation goods-to-person solution RoboShuttle8.

Award Winners

EnglishTo celebrate 25 years working in Spain to highlight the advances in the logistics sector, Logística Profesional has recognized companies for efficiency, sustainability, innovation, and corporate social responsibility in logistics. Geek+ is one of the winners, taking home the award in the Intralogistics and innovation category.

On this occasion, the winning solution was RoboShuttle8, which maximizes storage density in both height and depth. It is a unique solution in the industry that allows customers to improve efficiency by up to 3 times compared to manual operations thanks to flexibly combining with other Geek+ solutions. At the last trade show held in Spain, Logistics&Automation Madrid, we had the opportunity to show it.

Julián Villalobos, Geek+’s head of sales for Spain and Portugal, said:

“For Geek+, it is an immense honor to have been named as winners of the most innovative product of all those nominated by Logística Profesional. It is an honor because it is recognition of the work that many colleagues at Geek+ do to promote our solutions in a market as important to us as Spain.

Logística Profesional - 25 years supporting the logistics sector. And as its name suggests, providing professionalism to this industry is essential to disseminate knowledge about the latest trends. So my sincere congratulations to everyone at this publication.

I remember 20 years ago, when I started in this world of logistics, I could not have imagined the automation that we have today. Many customers who visit the warehouses that we have equipped with our solutions tell me, ‘Julián, this is not the future of logistics; this is the present.’ The truth is that it is impressive how we have evolved in terms of innovation in recent years and the work that design and innovation teams like Geek+’s do to improve day by day should be appreciated.

The future of automation is here, and, as I like to say, the future of logistics will either be automated or it won't be at all.”

This award joins two other awards that we have won in Europe this year, specifically at the SITL trade show in Paris for the most innovative product (also for RoboShuttle8) and at the prestigious European Product Design Awards for PopPick, our state-of-the-art goods-to-person solution.
